Haunted Bathtowels?
Amelia got the nickname "Sock Puppet" from my Granddaughter, Carlie. When I first got Amelia at 8 weeks old she weighed just 12 ounces. Carlie was a little over two years old and thought Amelia was the best. Carlie would play with Amelia for hours and was always gentle and careful with her. One weekend while I was visiting she started calling her Sock Puppet. We thought it was because my daughter, Crissy, and her had made little puppets from socks Carlie had outgrown just a couple days before my visit. We talked about how cute the sock puppets were and she just deducted that something cute was called a sock puppet. They nickname stuck and I even find myself calling her my little Sock Puppet, whenever I'm talking sweet to her.
Tonight I was sitting here at the computer, as usual, and my son's girlfriend, Amy, brought Amelia into me. She thought she looked so cute wrapped up in the blanket that I should take her picture. I guess Amy is becoming my photography assistant. I have to admit that Amelia looks natural wrapped up in a blanket. She is so cold natured and can be fround year round wrapped up in a blanket or something. Whenever she is left in my bathroom and a towel is on the floor, we have to be careful not to step on her when we walk into the room. If you didn't know we had a chihuahua you might think the towels in my bathroom were haunted.
