Help! The Dogs are Taking Over

I am dog sitting for my daughter during Spring Break. She and her children decided to travel to Alabama for the week. She ask me to keep her two dogs, Sterling, a 1 year old Standard Poodle and Bella, a 4 year old Bishon Cocker Spaniel mix. It wouldn't be so crazy, but I have Sterlings sister, Phoenix. A friend of mine had a litter of 13 puppies and I went with my daughter to purchase a puppy for herself. Of course I fell in love, realizing how much I missed my Lexie. She died suddenly a couple of years ago. I didn't think I wanted another big dog, but after seeing all those sweet puppies, I did!

So that makes two Standard Poodles that are both still puppies...running through the house, knocking everything in their path over. Amelia and Bella stay as close to me as possible so they don't get in the middle of it. When it gets to be too much, I put them in their kennels for a break.

Walking all these dogs takes a lot of time too. I don't have a fenced yard, so walk the two big ones individually on a leash and then go out with Amelia and Bella at the same time. I just have to keep my eye on Bella, she will wander off. All of this wouldn't be so hard, but I am under the weather today. I think I am getting a cold.

On a good note...it got up to 70 degrees today. I should have gotten out, but was able to enjoy it whenever I walked the dogs. Hope tomorrow will be as nice!
